Midwives
The most important contact person for pregnant women is the midwife. Midwives accompany you during pregnancy, giving birth and afterwards, if necessary, until the end of breastfeeding. They advise you on upcoming questions about pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, breastfeeding / nutrition, health, partnership, etc.
It is advisable to look for a midwife at the beginning of your pregnancy. They work at hospitals in the maternity wards, in midwife practices or in birth centres.
The health insurance covers the costs of a regular midwife.
You can find midwives in your region in the adress box.
